The ISMS Hub at a glance
Purpose
The ISMS Hub is the app’s central user interface. It exists as an identical app page in Jira and in Confluence, plus a full-screen view. The classic Jira project view remains fully usable alongside it — the hub does not replace it, it bundles it.
How to open the hub
- In Jira, open the Apps menu and choose ISMS with Jira & Confluence. (The menu entry is always in English — Atlassian does not translate app menu entries; the app interface itself appears in the configured content language.)
- Alternatively in Confluence: Apps menu → ISMS with Jira & Confluence. There, Confluence additionally renders its own page title above the app — that is normal.
- The footer link Open in full screen ↗ at the bottom of the sidebar opens the hub as a full-screen page without the Jira/Confluence frame.
Interface layout
The sidebar sits on the left; at the top of every view is the topbar with the search field “🔎 Search the ISMS (items, documents)…”, the + New ISMS item button (appears once the ISMS project is installed) and, at the far right, the round Open ISMS Agent button (appears only if Rovo is enabled on your site). The sidebar can be collapsed with «.

At the very bottom of the sidebar you find the direct links Open ISMS project ↗, the jump to the same app page in the other product (Go to Confluence app page ↗ respectively Go to Jira app page ↗), Open in full screen ↗, and the currently configured language as a chip (DE / EN).
Note: a “Dev Tools” entry exists only in development and test environments and is hidden in your production environment.
The dashboard
The dashboard bundles the overall state of your ISMS. Depending on your role, the view tabs My view, ISMS team and Top management are available at the top. Building blocks:
- Key figures per work area — with a red counter when something needs attention
- Statement of Applicability — progress ring over the classification state of the requirements
- Risk matrix (current and target) over likelihood and impact, including the still unassessed risks
- Top risks and Risk trend
- Review cycle — traffic light over overdue, due-within-30-days and on-track reviews
- Action center — overdue measures, overdue nonconformities, unassessed risks, items without an owner and setup gaps
- My work, Recent activity and a bar for quickly creating new issues
Search and quick create
- Search: from two characters on, the search field scans the ISMS issues (full text) and the titles of controlled documents. Clicking a hit opens the detail view in the hub or the Confluence page. Full text inside documents is covered by Confluence search or the ISMS Agent.
- Create: + New ISMS item opens the type picker “Create a new ISMS item” with a search field and recently used types, grouped by work area. Selecting a type opens the create dialog directly.
Item detail view
From lists and search you reach the control detail view with the sections Purpose & description, Responsibilities, Review & fulfilment and Linked items, plus the links Open in Jira and ← Dashboard. The Rovo button Explain this control explains the open item (Using the ISMS Agent (Rovo)).
