Manual
DORA Register of Information – Operating Manual
What the app does
- All 15 EBA templates as plain-language editors (labels instead of column codes such as
c0010) – see The 15 EBA templates at a glance. - Enforced data consistency on save: references must exist, keys are unique, referenced records cannot be deleted.
- EBA rule validation (15 rules, e.g. mandatory fields, LEI check digits, orphaned references) and an online GLEIF LEI check – see Validation and data quality: consistency checks, EBA rules, GLEIF LEI check.
- xBRL-CSV package as ZIP (one CSV per template plus metadata, file name per EBA pattern) – see Generate and download the xBRL-CSV package.
- Excel import of an existing EBA register – see Import an EBA Excel register.
- Jira workflow: annual-report epic (manual or automatic ahead of the deadline), validation findings as Jira issues, “RoI Record” issue panel – see Jira workflow: annual-report epic, finding issues and the “RoI Record” issue panel.
- User interface in English (default) and German, switchable in the settings.
Who this manual is for
This manual is written for business users without developer knowledge (e.g. outsourcing management, ICT third-party risk, compliance) who maintain the register in Jira, and for Jira administrators who install and configure the app. It describes only the behaviour the app actually implements; it is not legal or regulatory advice.
The end-to-end workflow in five steps
- Open the app, choose the language, save the settings (Jira project, submission deadline, base currency) → Getting started: open the app, configure it and load demo data
- Enter master data and the register – in the recommended order – or import an existing EBA Excel file → Create, edit and delete records (maintaining the register), Import an EBA Excel register
- Run validation, fix findings, optionally distribute them as Jira issues → Validation and data quality: consistency checks, EBA rules, GLEIF LEI check, Jira workflow: annual-report epic, finding issues and the “RoI Record” issue panel
- Check LEIs against GLEIF → Validation and data quality: consistency checks, EBA rules, GLEIF LEI check
- Generate, download and check the xBRL-CSV package and upload it outside the app → Generate and download the xBRL-CSV package

Conventions
- Buttons, menus and field names appear in bold exactly as the app shows them with the language set to English (the default). Switching languages is described in “Getting started”.
- Template codes such as
B_02.02and column codes such asc0010are quoted for orientation only – the app shows them next to the plain-language labels. - Screenshots show the real app UI with the built-in demo data (“Nordpay”, a fictitious payment institution). They were rendered locally from the app code; the surrounding Jira frame (header, Apps menu) is not visible on them.
- The German version of this manual is semantically identical: DORA Register of Information – Betriebshandbuch.
