Administration & Configuration
Administration & Configuration
This section is for the people who set up and look after AnyLLM (administration, configuration, app settings): Jira and Confluence administrators who create the LLM connections, grant endpoint approvals, decide which surfaces are switched on and maintain site agents, templates and general settings. Everyday use of the chat is described in the user pages, starting with Getting Started.
One installation, one configuration. AnyLLM runs as a single installation that serves Jira and Confluence together. Connections and API keys, site agents, templates, module toggles and all general settings are maintained once and apply in both products; the settings page shows the same state whether you open it in Jira or in Confluence, and a button at the top of the settings takes you to the other product. The one exception is the endpoint approval: the list of approved addresses is kept once for the whole installation, but the administrator's consent in Atlassian's confirmation dialog counts per product — grant it once on the Jira settings page and once on the Confluence settings page. Everything personal (conversations, memory, saved choices, own agents and skills) belongs to the individual person and is likewise the same in both products; see Permissions, Roles and Data Visibility.

First time here?
Start with Opening the Settings and Initial Setup. It shows where the settings are and then walks you through the safe order for a first setup: modules, a connection, the endpoint approval in both products, a connection test, the general settings and a test chat — before you switch the surfaces on for everyone. The two pages you will need most on the way are Setting Up LLM Connections and Managing Endpoint Approvals. If something does not work afterwards, Troubleshooting lists the admin messages with causes and remedies.
